Granny. I love you and I miss you. It still feels weird going into your house to water your plants and not hearing the radio too loud, or the TV playing in the background. I think of all the things you won't get to see me do. You never saw the blanket I finally finished after showing you it each week. I don't get to tell you about how I met my friends at college, or went shopping. You won't slip me money or sweets when I leave anymore. We can't give out to you for slipping food to the dogs when you are up for Christmas dinner. The dogs still look for you. They don't understand and it still doesn't feel real, and neither do I. I miss you every day. I love you.
