Kathleen Rogers
(née Finnerty)

Comhbhrón o chroí to Kathleen's family. Remembering Kathleen from our days in the Oxfam Charity Shop. She was such a joy to work with and such a powerhouse of intelligence, ideas, practicalities, laughter etc. She took on challenges with great gusto, even the Millennium Bug - twenty five years ago now! She had the ability to tell a story, talk about a wide range of topics from: the merits and de-merits of the the Small Claims Court; to how to repair a zip, make a you a cup of tea and repair a toaster - all at the same time - oh and take a phone call in the middle of it all. But most of all I remember and will always remember being fascinated by Kathleen's unique skill of doing the tots/adding up/cashing up/counting the money/doing the banking etc all "as Gaeilge".
