We would like to extend our sincere, and heartfelt condolences to the family; and relatives, on the passing of Kathleen. Kathleen was an exceptional friend, and a true neighbour to all, her contribution to the parish over many years, was without doubt sufficient; and immeasurable, and her presence within the community; especially on the Annual Parish Pilgrimage, will fondly be missed.

Really saddened to hear of Kathleen's passing whilst I was away from the parish last week! Condolences to her relatives and friends. She was such a kind and sensitive lady, particularly at Anniversary time every year in this month over the past 30 years for my own beloved Frieda, with whom she will now share her own heavenly home. May you rest in peace, Kathleen. I will miss your lovely kindnesses as I regularly encountered you at Mass.

So very sad to hear about Kathleen, she was a great lady, always full of fun and always so kind. I will miss her.

Deepest sympathy to all Kathleen’s relatives. We will miss her friendship, her humour, her stories, her vast knowledge of Blanchardstown, her leading the final hymn on the days of the annual novena , and her collecting at the 10:30 Sunday Mass. My she rest in peace as she takes her place in the heavenly choir.

Kathleens peaceful passing is indeed the end of an era for the village of Blanch. Her interest in singing began in the Primary School across the road from her house, and, in her late teens, she became a member of the Church choir which was also the backbone of the St Brigid's Choral society and, not surprisingly, the St Brigid's Amateur Dramatic society also. Kathleen took part in the many musicals and dramas that were so popular in the Scout Hall on the Porterstown Road before the era of television. When these societies faded away she remained a life long member of the Church choir and, fittingly, she became the Church sacristan on her retirement from work. Nor was her life all work. Kathleen was an indefatigable world traveller, from South Africa to South America to Norwegian Fjords, she was there. On this, her final trip, may Kathleen rest in peace.

Sincere condolences to Kathleen's family. She gave great service to the parish and community. Will be greatly missed.

We have lost a beautiful person, a pillar of the community and a voice of wisdom and knowledge from the Parish , the area and the faith community of St. Brigids. It is so hard to believe that Kathleen will no longer be in the Pastoral Centre joining her friends and loved ones for a cuppa. Sorely missed. Rest in the loving embrace of God the Father Kathleen and enjoy forever the Face of Christ.

Kathleen will be sorely missed by her family, her friends and the parish community for the kind and cheerful lady she was. Always ready for a chat and some good humoured banter. Rest in peace dear friend.

It is with great sadness I heard of Kathleen’s death RIP. I knew her as a kind, gentle and helpful lady who had time for everybody, a profound knowledge of local history and a great sense of humour. So sorry to hear of Kathleen's passing. She has been a part of Blanch life since I was a child. I could always depend on her to organise anniversary mass for my parents. Last time I spoke to her was at that mass in November. She will be sadly missed . RIP.

I have such lovely memories of so many great conversations and laughs with her across her front wall and also in the church when I would attend mass with the children from the school. Her prayerful saying of Monday morn.Novena prayers and how you could always pick out her distinctive voice.Help at Baptisms, 1st Communions, Confirmations and Funerals. Chats and laughter over her garden wall. Stories of her youth and acting days on stage in local halls. School day stories in what's now our Community Centre. We will miss her very much. So sorry to hear of the death of Kathleen. She was the salt of the earth and a link with the parish when 'Blanch' was still a country village. On visits home from the Philippines and since I came home for good in 2017 I experienced and saw her kindness and generosity in many ways and on many occasions.
