We were the original part times girls to work in Penneys Omni Park and we took the 17A together. Kathryn was always good humored and gentle. While so focused on what she wanted. Kathryn achieved so much and helped so many people. Its extraordinary in her short life. We put the world to rights on the 17A and solved so many problems on that journey. All my memories of the beautiful Kathryn are happy ones. The world is a much sadder place without her.

I was truly saddened to hear of the passing of Kathryn. She was one of the first people I worked under as a student in St.Luke's. She had such patience and kindness for everyone she cared for. I later became a colleague and had great respect for her. We would talk about our shared love of dogs over the breakfast table and she always had a story to tell about her nieces or her beloved Cara.
Kathryn was a lady and will be sorely missed. My deepest condolences to her family, Niko and of course Scamp.

I was deeply shocked to hear of Kathryn's passing. She was a beautiful person inside and out. I worked with Kathryn for many years in St. Lukes where our little St. Lukes family at the time supported each other through the ups and downs of our twenties and thirties. I worked with Kathryn in Deansgrange Library. Kathryn was both a friend and colleague, a pleasure to work with and she had a wonderful way about her with patrons and colleagues alike, she will be sadly missed. May she rest in peace.

I cannot walk past Kathryns gate without thinking of her beautiful face smiling as she mowed her little lawn or sittong in her deckchair with Scamp or Cara, enjoying the sunny side of the Avenue while telling me that Cara hated the rugby while Kathryn loved watching the matches. To have Kathryn living on our Avenue was an honour, part of the glue that keeps this little commuity together. Her kind gentle pleasant manner always brightened the day when we would chat.
I am beyond devestated at this unexpected loss of such a beautiful woman who also treated me as a patiet at St Lukes with the grestest of compassion. My heartfelt sympathy goes to Kathryns Mam Dad brother and sisters to have lost such a special bright light. Our Avenue has lost a very special neighbour and I will mourn her passing for a long time but will remember chatting about making apple tarts and Leinster rugby to hold her in my heart for ever. To Kathryns parents you raised a beautiful and special daughter who I will miss beyond measure.
I pray sincerely that you will find some form of peace from knowing the love she emanated to everyone who was lucky to know and meet dear, dear Kathryn. That she may rest in the deepest peace of Gods love.

It's been a long time ago now since I listened to her plans for the Portuguese Camino with envy. I remember feeling a pang of jealousy as she described the winding paths, the charming villages, and the sense of adventure that awaited her.
