In reading the condolences it is clear that my memories of Katie are similar to all those gathered here to pay homage to her and her loved ones who nurtured her. She was a bright light, with a big smile, and a caring soul. To honour her, in the spring I will be planting a garden with perennial blooms so I can see their happy faces each year and think of Katie.

I was very shocked and sad to hear of Katie’s passing. I had the pleasure of meeting her at Stevie and Ciara’s wedding. She was vibrant and took the time to make everyone feel very welcome. You could see how happy she was to be her sister’s bridesmaid. I hope you will take comfort in people’s prayers. Now is the time for friends and family to rally around you and give you all the love and support you will need. RIP Katie
