The 1st time I ever met Kay in 2004, she single-handedly threw a whole double bed up against a wall to stop it from being drenched by a hugely leaking ceiling during a monsoon-like terrential rain (don't ask).

From that day on I just knew she was something else. She was one of the bravest people I knew and we loved having her and Luna as neighbours for close to 8 years up until recently.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to her family and friends and may they draw strength from their memories with and of Kay. Every time I have a glass of 'Vino' as she liked to say, I will raise it to her.
