Such terribly sad news to hear of Kay’s sudden passing. Kay & Peetie were our nearest neighbours in Carrowkeel until we moved. I ran into Kay only recently and had the usual lovely friendly chat & update. What a loss to her family & wide circle of friends. Our deepest sympathy to her beloved children & extended family. Kay was the epitome of a lady always, she was kind, caring, giving, friendly, her zest for life and people, together with her beautiful charismatic personality and gentle nature endeared her to young and old alike. It was a privilege to have know Kay and spent time around the table in her company in Clonfanlough hall just a week ago for an evening of entertainment, little did we know that it would be our last time together and the beautiful 'Galway Girl' would depart so soon from the 'Faithful County' to her now Eternal home. Kay will be deeply missed but never forgotten, her legacy will live on forever, a shining light to all left behind! The wonderful times you spent together can never be lost, for they will live on in your hearts and comfort you in the days ahead. May Kay's kind and gentle soul rest in Heavenly peace.
