My sympathy to the Lyons family and the extended family on the death of Kay. When I came to Dublin, the Lyons sisters were spoken about with respect as Dublin camogie stars and contributors to growing the sport.
The founded the Marino camogie club and touched the lives and influenced many young girls in the area.
They were leaders and left a great legacy in the community.
Kay was always kind and welcoming and wore her fame lightly.
Rest in Peace Kay
RIP Kay.. Fond memories of meeting up at the ‘D’ walls to go to play camogie in Phoenix Park with Kay and Connie

Dear Kay, we are forever indebted to you for all you did for our girls and us all through their childhood and into adulthood with Marino Camogie Club. We can safely say that it was one of the defining relationships in their lives and enriched their lives immeasurably, particularly with the great friends they made and the enormous enjoyment they got from playing and being involved. May our Blessed Mother take you into her arms as you are reunited with your beloved siblings. Thank you Kay.
Condolences to Kay's extended family. She was a wonderful Camogie player and a great servant to Marino Camogie Club. May she rest in peace.
Rest in peace Kay. Both Kay & & Connie trained me out on the greens in Marino.
Very fond memories of seeing Kay play for Eoghan Ruadh. Poetry in motion on the camogie pitch. Such a lovely kind person. Condolences to all the family. 💙
So sorry to hear of your death Kay. You will be sadly missed by us all at St. Anthony's Bowling Club where you gave us all a good run for our money and whacked us all. May you rest in peace with all your loving sisters and brothers. Anna Hurley Keating and all the members of the Bowling Club.
Sincere condolences to the extended family of Kay. I have very fond memories of Kay when she graced the camogie pitches playing for her club, Celtic and her County, Dublin. She was a lovely person and a great exponent of the game. Towards the end of her playing days she founded Marino Camogie club and generously passed on her knowledge and skill to a new generation of players. May she rest in peace.
Rest in peace Kay. The greatest gift you can give someone is your time and you and your sisters gave that to us in abundance when you set up Marino Camogie Club. I’m eternally grateful for the fantastic memories and wonderful friendships that are a direct result of your dedication. Condolences to the Lyons family & friends.

Kay was Marino for so many Dublin camógs but her influence and her late sibling's influence on Dublin camogie stretched far beyond that. Always a smile and chat for us all. Glad I knew her. Ar dheis go raibh a hanam.
RIP KAY..Kay and her sisters Connie, May and Joan were legends in their own right on and off the camogie pitches. More than that - setting up Marino Camogie Club gave us all a treasured youth and adult life that I'm forever grateful for. My friends, memories and so much of the best moments in my life are directly because of what Kay and the Lyons sisters did for the community in Marino. Go raibh míle maith agaibh. May you all RIP . Sympathies to Kay's extended family, relatives & friends.
