Was so sad to hear of Kays passing. So many great memories of working with Kay in the Leinster Arms. We had so many good times. I have far too many memories of Kay to post here. All of them good. I'll just post a few.

One of my earliest memories is of being the page boy at Kay's wedding to her late husband, Billy. This was followed shortly by Kay being my babysitter in her mother's home in Avondale, while my parent's were at work.
Given my age at the time, I don't remember much; but I do remember her being really, really kind and gentle.

About eight years later, at her own mother's funeral, Kay saw how upset I was before we entered the graveyard, and had Billy drive me home because she knew that I wasn't able to handle it.

Three years ago I was briefly hospitalised after a minor accident. I had four different people visit me. Kay was one of them. She came in twice.
That was the Kay that I knew. She was a very kind and loving woman.

I've spent the last 40+ years seeing and hearing about Kay's three sons, and can honestly say that they are three of the greatest people I know.

Dave, Jay, and Mark: you all made your mother very proud of the men you became.
I can only hope that those 12 words bring you some slight condolence during this terrible time in your lives.

Given the person your mother was, I know that you wives and children will also miss your amazing mother. My deepest condolences to every one of you.

The world has lost a brilliant woman.
