Sincere condolences to Brendan,Deirdre, Karen and extended ORiordan and Coyne families on the recent passing of Kay. I met Kay and Brendan when I came to Galway in 1991 through my work. Kay was such a beautiful person in every way . A lady . May God give you and your family the strength and courage to deal with your sad loss . You are in my thoughts and prayers. Kay RIP
Brendan. We have just heard the sad news of Kay's passing. Our deepest sympathy to you, Karen, Deirdre and family. We have fond memories of Kay during our time living in Blackrock, Co Louth. She was a lovely person. Our thoughts are with you. Barbara and Donal Curtin
Brendan, Karen & Deirdre ~
I just heard today (05.01.2026) of your loss, not just of Kay but also now, of Paddy.
She had a lightness of heart that oozed joy on her arrival in a place and a generosity of spirit to share it instinctively and unconditionally.
There are no words when someone as precious, caring and generous as Kay leaves this world. Even those who knew her least will feel a void.
Knowing that means her loss to you will be felt even more strongly.
Look after each other and take comfort from good memories.

Sincere sympathies to Deirdre and to all the O'Riordan and Coyne families. I remember the unfailingly warm welcomes I would get as a student in the 1990s, and indeed since, from Kay, Brendan, Deirdre and Karen but Kay was very much at the heart of the house, full of vibrant chat and always effortlessly able to put me at ease.
The world needs more people like her today, but she was so generous with herself that she poured so much of herself into others and so much of that goodness, that character lives on in those whom she loved and all of us whom she welcomed. Sincere sympathies again to all but to my friend Deirdre in particular.

My deepest condolence to all the family and extended family and friends during this time.
I have a lot of great memories of Kay. We go back a long way from the time we were Bank Officials in Dublin. We shared a flat together in Dublin for many years.
During the Bank’s first strike a crowd of girls from the bank decided to go to England in search of temp jobs to keep us going as we knew the strike could last some months.
After a month or so in London some of us decided we were not keen to stay any longer so about six of us went to jersey in the Channel Islands. We loved it and stayed until the strike was over.
Kay married before me so then we were going our separate ways. We kept in touch. I came to Perth WA to live.
Kay and Brendan came to Perth as part of their holiday when our children had finished school. We had a lovely time together. Myself and Allan also visited them both at their home in Salthill, it was great.
Rest in peace Kay you will live in my heart.

From the moment I first met Kay over thirty years ago, her warmth and generosity of spirit left such an impression on me as a teenager and I have never forgotten it since. She had the rare ability to light up a room with her infectious smile, her boundless energy and her deep compassion for all those around her. In all the years since, I’ve met hundreds people, but few have touched me the way Kay did. My deepest sympathies go out to Brendan, Karen, Deirdre, her son-in-law, grandchildren, siblings, and all who loved her. Her loss is enormous, her life was truly well lived and her absence will be very deeply felt. Rest in peace, our dear Kay. You will never be forgotten.
