She was a wonderful teacher who really loved all her pupils and introduced them to not only the curriculum but also to a love of art, reading , music and sport. She was a brilliant wife, mother and grandmother. It was a privileges to be her friend and I will miss her greatly. Rest in Peace Kay

Condolences to Paddy, Conor, Breon, grandchildren Maisie, Daniel, Aoibheann, Séan and Lía, brother Michael, daughter-in-law Joanne, sister-in-law Noreen and the extended Fehilly & White families. I was very sorry to hear of Kathleen's death. Kathleen was cousin of my mams and when I was born Kathleen was asked to be my Godmother and Kathleen agreed provided she could decide on the name given to me. I have happy memories of our visits to the Fehilly home in Bandon to visit Uncle Mick & Jenny. 55 years ago I was Kathleen & Paddy's Flower girl at the wedding and my sister Una was the Bridesmaid and that was a great day.

Work life and distance got in the way of regular meetings not like the days when it was easy to take a trip to Bandon from Barryroe. Our last meeting was in September 2019 in Ardfield at Josephine's funeral when we had a great catchup.

As I couldn't attend the funeral in person I watched the funeral mass on the Webcam today. It was evident that Kathleen was a very popular lady. Her time in education continued long after her teaching career ended between Board of Management duties, her involvement in ICA and teaching her children and grandchildren the value of books. Fond memories of your time together will keep her alive in your hearts at this difficult time.

As mentioned at the mass Paddy you have the "gift of the gab". I hope to be able to catch up with you over the summer.

May Kathleen now rest in peace.
