Your influence crosses homes, oceans, countries & time. A brilliant, funny, intelligent & talented man taken from us all far too soon. A huge loss to his loving family, friends & the genetics scientific community. He taught me so much & I am so grateful to have known him. I will miss him immensely. Meningococcal Septicaemia is taking too many lives around the world & must one day be erradicated & I have promised myself & now Keith to try to make that goal one day, a reality & it is now within reach in the future. It has given me great drive to support the Menningitis Research Foundation & I will be supporting this charity in future runs in his memory. I will miss him so much beyond any words I can gather. Keith was all about the craic, letting go of inhibitions, supporting men’s mental health, saving the environment, LGBT rights & having fun & it is in this way he should be remembered. Please all remember the good times with him & to all look after & support eachother in the way he would have wanted. It is in times like this we are reminded of how important community is to physical & mental health & social belonging & long may this continue. RIP Keith. You were & always will be loved by Front runners & beyond. I will never forget you. x
