I was so very sorry to hear of Kelvin's passing. I had the pleasure of meeting him once or twice during his teenage years. He was so friendly. My sincere condolences to Claire, David and all of Kelvin's family and friends.

I’m so sorry to hear about the tragic and devastating passing of Kelvin. I had the opportunity to meet Kelvin when he visited Australia and we also met up in Ireland. Kelvin really made a genuine effort to get to know me and we had great talks about interests we shared. Kelvin had such a friendly and down to earth nature. My thoughts and condolences are with Claire and David during this sad time.

I had the pleasure of being a teammate of Kelvin's at Dundrum F.C. Kelvin had just graduated to senior football but for such a young guy he was a fearless, tough tackling defender who gave his all in every game for the team. He lit up our dressing room with his smile and positive demeanor.

Off the field he was such a bubbly character and brought smiles to the faces of everyone lucky enough to call him a friend.

Beyond devastated to hear the news of Kelvins passing. To say he was one of the most incredible, funny, caring people I have ever met. I knew Kelvin since I was a kid going to basketball camps and then had the pleasure of working with him in lifestyle for many years where we were one big family. We went on the best holidays together and I hold nothing but the most incredible memories of him. His infectious laugh and beaming smile will stay with me forever. I am incredibly saddened to hear of Kelvin's passing and offer my condolences to his family. It has been a long time since I've seen Kelvin but, as I'm sure many others will similarly feel, I remember fondly lots of great memories from our time together in the world of basketball, playing with St Vincents and at different camps around the country. Kelvin was a great friend and teammate who brought with him a unique vibrant energy to all those around him.

When we think of Kelvin the first thing that comes to mind is his incredible smile. He had a smile that lit up the room and always made us feel like he was so delighted to see us, that is a special trait. And then his welcome always matched that smile. Claire, David - I have greatly appreciated the time we spent together recently recounting all of the wonderful stories and memories of Kelvin over the years. You already know how much he meant to me and to say he made a lasting impact on my life is a massive understatement. My whole youth is inextricably linked with Kelvin and I am a far better, more rounded person because of it. I absolutely loved being with him and around him and his magnetic energy, positivity and enthusiasm are only some of the reasons for this. He will live on in my memory for ever and I will be sure to continue thinking and speaking about all the ways in which he was a truly great person. My deepest condolences.

Such sad news! I had the privilege of playing football and later managing Kelvin at Dundrum FC. He was a great character and a player all the team loved. The news has come as a big shock to all his former teammates and the wider community of Dundrum FC. Many fond memories, from big wins on the pitch, to team trips away will stay close to my heart. My deepest condolences to Kelvins family at this extremely difficult time. Kelvin was a teammate of mine at St Vincents and a great person all round. So many memories in both the club and ripnrun camps. I had not seen him in a couple of years and one day he showed up to a vincents summer scrimmage, he was still as happy as ever and I was delighted to see him and catch up. May he rest in peace.

Heard the news off my brother and couldn’t believe it. Still can’t.
My condolences to all of his family and everyone that knew him.
I was lucky enough to have met him and played basketball with Kelvin at St.Vincent’s basketball and lots of different camps over the years when we were kids.
He was hilarious, and had one of those laughs that made everyone feel they could get involved in the joke.
He was always a great guy to recommend new music and was a great bball player too.
I would always bump into him at hiphop gigs when we were older and have a catch up, still as funny and friendly then as he was when we were kids.
He was an unbelievable human being and a great guy, he was really well thought of and liked by everyone on the team and used to have everyone in stitches laughing with the jokes he would make.
He will be missed and what a tragedy.
Anyone who knew him was the better for it.

Kelvin and I shared many years of love and laughter together. He was a gentle soul with the best laugh I have ever heard. His ability to learn every lyric of the hundreds if not thousands of songs he loved always amazed me, along with his enthusiasm to share music with all who would listen.
