I always remember our work together in Muelheim and our countless visits to Bochum and Sutton.
Every minute with your family was beautiful and our contact over the years was a joy for me.
Dear Dorothy, Brigitte and Dieter from Bochum send you our heartfelt condolences on the death of Ken

Hi Dorothy. Jill & I arrived in Bath yesterday afternoon so unable to make the service. We did tune into the video link via Leslie. Please accept our deepest condolences as we have lost a truly special person.
Ken coined the term "Mitcham Party" & we truly did have some unforgettable times together "disrupting the tranquillity of the English coutryside" as we were once told.
Rest in peace old mate you will live on forever in my memory.
Cheers Jim & Jill Driscoll Australia

The fact that such a bright and lively personality as Ken is suddenly no longer with is such a shock.
Ken and Peter worked together on various occasions in the last 50 years and Ken was always an intelligent and diligent colleague.
Nearer the end of their work together they both lectured on the same software subject and his input was always useful, incisive, and tempered with a wry sense of humour.
Ken and Dorothy would often meet socially with us and we always had great fun. Although perhaps involving serious discussion, it would inevitably end up in tearful laughter.
We miss him. But that pain pales to nothing compared with what you must be feeling, dear Dorothy. Please know that in the daunting task of facing the future we, along with your many other friends and relatives, will be there for you.
