I was very sad to hear that Ken has passed away.

I first knew Ken when in my work in the Public Relations Industry in Dublin, he worked with the Press Group of Newspapers and later when he worked with other publications in Dublin. He would always accept a phone call and press release / news story from me, and I appreciated it very much.

I was delighted to bump into Ken in Virginia when we moved to the area. He was always friendly.

Deepest sympathy to all Ken’s family. Ken and myself go back even further than our good times together in the Irish Press. Ken always had strong views and was never afraid to air them. May he rest in peace.

What do yo say when words are not enough? Although we were very close friends in our youth, our paths diverged over years until we found each other again online. I am devastated to be unable to express my condolences in person but to Ian, Diane and Linda and to Orla and Kathleen (whom I never met) I send my deepest sympathies in what must be a time of intense sorrow. May Ken rest in eternal peace. I shall attend the funeral in spirit as I cannot travel and will be watching via webcam.

Sincere sympathy to Kathleen and all Ken's relatives and friends. He and I were close friends in our teens in Ballymun and got up to a fair amount of devilment together.
