The Zulu Missions received the very sad news of the passing of a committed Supporter and Friend, Kenneth Kelly. To the Sisters of Kenneth, Aileen and Deirdre and all the Kelly Family, please accept our deepest sympathy and condolences on the loss of one so dear and please be assured of our prayers for comfort and courage.
Kenneth Kelly, a man of great compassion, first became a Supporter and Friend of the Zulu Missions in October 2005, faithfully donating each year. It was in 2019 that Kenneth visited Durban and requested a meeting with His Eminence, Cardinal Napier. This meeting was the beginning of a lasting relationship with Cardinal Napier and all at the Zulu Missions.
May his gentle soul rest in Peace with Jesus, whom he so loved. He is now with His Lord.

It is with deep sadness that we’ve received the news of Kenneth’s untimely passing. We send sincere sympathy to Kenneth’s sisters and the Kelly family on the loss of their loved one.
My short time with Kenneth when he visited South Africa left me with the impression of a true gentleman with a gentle soul. A man of integrity, compassion, generosity and good humour. Kenneth graced us with his presence, his time, his humility and mindfulness. He will be sadly missed in South Africa by all who had the privilege of meeting and knowing him.
A true Christian, may he rest in eternal peace with Our Blessed Lord. Never to be forgotten.

Kenneth was a real gentleman, and much loved by so many. He was full of life, and always had a great story to tell. He would often come and stay with Declan and Siobhan at their farm in Wiltshire, and we would always end up in fits of laughter. It was lovely seeing him most recently at Siobhan and Jon’s wedding in such top form. A real gem who will be greatly missed. RIP dear Kenneth x

As Siobhan’s sister I knew Kenneth when he was a frequent visitor to our house in London. He was such a lovely man and it was so good to spend a day with him in Strokestown in 2019. My partner David and him got on famously. We are so sorry we won’t see him on our next visit. We will always remember his humour and wonderful story telling.

Dear Uncle Kenneth, I'm so sorry you were taken so suddenly, I do hope you didn't suffer. I'll remember your kindness and wonderful storytelling of your adventures and people you met along the way - you spread great joy, and entertainment, at my wedding last summer! And I'm so thankful for the lovely conversation we had a month ago, discussing what we'd do when me and Jon came to stay with you in October. It's so sad that won't be, but I'm glad you knew our flights were booked and we were so looking forward to seeing you. I am sure you are at peace now.
