Kenneth (Ken) Halpin

On behalf of NSAI (National Standards Authority of Ireland) and particularly our standards committee on Electronic Procurement and Invoicing, I would like to express our deepest sympathy to all of Ken’s family at this very sad time. Ken was an important and integral part of our committee and his contributions to the work of standards will be remembered by all. We are greatly saddened to hear of his passing.

Although I have known Ken's sister Grainne for over 40years, sadly I didn't get to know Ken & Brigitte as well as I would have liked.
Ken and I chatted at our Nephew's wedding June 2023. I found him to be a very warm, unassuming, interesting person. It was at that same wedding I first met his beautiful daughter Celine.
I'm so very grateful to have been present at Ken's funeral service and to have learned so much about this wonderful man who possessed a beautiful soul 🌹

It took me quite some time to prepare myself to write a condolence message for Ken. It has been exactly 18 years this month since I joined Celtrino. I still vividly remember the interview he conducted for me in June 2006. He has always been an integral part of my career life. Ken worked diligently and consistently upheld the principles of honesty.

Celine, I deeply cherish the memories I made while working with your father; he was truly a gem of a person. We are commemorating his legacy. Ken was an inspiration and role model to many. The loss of a boss like him takes time to recover from. He will be dearly missed for his kindness in life.

I will always remember Ken for his friendly and kind nature. He had a unique way of making everyone feel valued and appreciated. His dedication and passion for the company were evident in everything he did. His vision and leadership have shaped our organization and will continue to inspire us moving forward.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. May his legacy live on in the values and principles he instilled in our company.

I have very fond memories of Ken from when I was young, and he and Brigitte stayed with us for a few weeks while looking for their own place. He had a certain aura about him, and I always felt I could learn something from him in any interaction I had. My deepest condolences to his family, especially Celine.
