I had the pleasure of knowing Ken for many years and loved his sense of humour and great knowledge.He was a man of his word and helped me out on many occasions .My sympathy to all the O'brien family on your sad loss.Sending love and thoughts from my family to yours.RIP ❤

Dear Margaret, Shirley, John, Mark and Karen. I am so sorry to hear of Ken's passing. I first worked with Ken in the early 70's in Lee's in Dunlaoire and he subsequently did some work for me in the 90's in Pfizer Dunlaoire. Ken was a super guy and I have many fond memories of him. One of life's gentlemen. May he Rest In Peace.

I only heard today (22/09) of Ken's passing! Sincere condolences to Margaret and all the family. We had many, many laughs with you in Redford Park over the years. May God grant you peace and happiness in the next 'room'! RIP

Our deepest sympathy goes to Margaret and the O'Brien family on their sad loss. We have great and lasting memories of time spent with Ken and Margaret, especially in Greystones Bowling Club.
Ken filled a number of roles in the club starting with a very successful period as greens convenor and culminating as President in 2,000.
The times spent with him were always filled with fun and endless banter.
He will be missed.

I met Ken many years ago when he was doing business with my great friend Fred Lewis in ESB.
Always remember Ken's jovial manner and it was a pleasure to meet him years later in Greystones Bowling Club where we shared the rink on many occasions.
I always referred to Ken as "Mr. Cool" as he was the "Coolest" dude on the rink !!
Rest easy Ken, Heaven just became a " Cooler " place !
