Sad to know u will never b in the eden pub again I still have a photo of u and me with the the Sam maguire cup happy days and jars
dear carol, paul and gillian - i forgot to mention that we'll be happy to send a donation to your suggested charity, irfu charitable trust, in your dad's memory. i googled it, and it sounds like a great charity. love, colleen and the boys
dear carol, paul, gillian and families - (i'm also passing on tommy's condolences; i believe robert is out of town at the moment, and i'll call ronnie tonight). although i haven't seen uncle ken, or any of you, since 1983, i still have lots of good memories of him, as well as your mom, dot. i remember well the time he was here in toronto for a visit, bringing the best smoked salmon, from ireland of course, that i've ever tasted. he loved to enjoy life, and was a very willing participant when we went to an unusual chinese restaurant. i also remember when mom and i drove him over the border to the u.s. to catch a flight. we drove through the niagara (falls) region, with orchard after orchard full of all kinds of fruit trees. it was like driving through the garden of eden! we had some more excitement when a stone suddenly came through the windshield, hitting mom right in the face! thankfully, she wasn't seriously hurt. i hope that all your happier memories will be a great comfort to all of you in your loss. it's been 22 years since our dad (reg) left on, and 2 years for mom. love, and may God comfort all of you, colleen, robert, tommy and ronnie.
Deepest sympathy, especially to
Gill.
With deepest sympathy to Ken's family
With fond memories and a good friend.
Fellow M.F.C. member, God rest his soul.
