Shocked and deeply saddened to get this terrible news. Ken and I shared a desk our entire school life from 2nd class to 6th year, and then continued on our journey up to Maynooth college. Ken was my friend, my tutor on all matters scientific and my source of endless "craic" for all those years...you will be sadly missed my friend.

RIP Kenneth, many memories of a childhood spent at Laytown in a happy jumble of cousins. Can remember being in the back of Michael Snr.'s car in the same jumble of cousins. You were a very kind and friendly face when i first arrived at Maynooth.
