I met Kenneth in Galway in the mid to late nineties as we attended college together and he was a very articulate keen minded warm soul. I am only after hearing of his passing and want to express my condolences to his friends and family .

To Ken's mother and sisters,all I can say is that I feel such sympathy for ye all.I taught with Ken in Gallen and found him to be a very serious, committed teacher.He took many a class for me when I was out sick and did tremendous work with them.I spent many a lunchtime in his company in the staffroom and was both educated and entertained at the same time.Ken was one of the good ones in life and that's why so many of us will miss him.I hope ye,the Mara family can find some solace in the fact that he was so well thought of in the school and that ye get the grace to accept this awful tragedy.
