I met Kevin as a young boy in the 70's Westport. Kevin had his room decorated with Blondie posters. He loved music. He used to talk about wanting to be a guard or a carpenter. He loved animals and could talk at length about them.
He used to and stay in our house in Balbriggan. We would go along the beach and collect crabs and put them into jars.
I was amazed at his knowledge of fixing motorbikes.
I remember seeing the structure he that he built out of wood of the town that was in Westport Quay museum.
