I went to primary school with Kevin and even though it was long ago now, I still have fond memories of him. He was a great character and footballer. I was so shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. May he rest in peace.

Deeply saddened and devastated at the passing of Kevin. Almost all my childhood memories on the Mullagharlin road contains Kevin and the rest of the Bishop family. He will be sorely missed. He was always the nicest guy, we have the best memories of him playing on the farm from morning til night all throughout many, many summers. Taking us for spins on the tractor! Cops and robbers was everyone’s favourite, and Kevin knew all the best hiding places so you’d always want to be a robber with Kev! I hope he gets the peace he deserves now. He’ll be missed. RIP
