My sincere sympathy to Kevin’s family and friends on the passing of one of the good guys.
I first met him in the late 60’s in Cistercian College Roscrea, and our friendship continued through many encounters on the rugby pitch.
Kevin’s footballing skills and physicality made for difficult times for his opponents on the field of play, and were overshadowed only by his conviviality and great company afterwards - many’s the late mid-winter journey home from Dr Keane Park.
Nothing but great memories of a really decent man.
RIP Basher.
