We were schoolboy friends when he lived in Terenure and I on Limekiln Road. Ronan told me of Kevin’s passing. I have great memories of Kevin and our many great adventures especially our summer in Leigh On Sea. Essex .They were great memories that I will always cherish. I have travelled the world but I will never forget Kevin friendship and how lucky I was to have Kevin ( and an Irish Speaker ) as a friend.

I am incredibly shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Kevin, which I only learned of today upon my arrival home from overseas.
I remember the first day he walked into my clinic in 1994 shortly after I qualified.
We struck it off right away, and I am forever in debt to him for the occasional financial and life advice he gave me.
He would always ring looking for an appointment at short notice, and I always made sure he got one.
Such a character and I will genuinely miss him. It was always a pleasure to see him.
He always spoke of Mary and the family. He loved you all very much.
My deepest condolences to you all.

Acknowledging the peaceful passing of my neighbour Kevin.I just want to say "Thank you Kevin for being such a kind and helpful neighbour and for all your warm greetings when meeting you in the lift and your advice on the working of Newman-The Court-where we lived".I pray for a cloak of comfort to embrace Mary and all of the family in the wake of this loss.

While I never had the opportunity to meet Kevin, I know that the man who raised Caoimhe must have been the most remarkable person, father, husband, grandfather and so much more.

The love and support that Caoimhe has spoken about throughout the years has spoken volumes about his heart, humanity and values from afar and we are heartbroken to hear about this loss.

Dear Mary, Caoimhe, Shane and Ross,

We know that no words can truly ease the pain of losing your husband and father, but I hope these memoires bring a little smile through the tears.

Kevin was one of a kind—a man who could make anyone laugh or give a helping hand whether teaching the kitchen staff at The Kiosk restaurant here in Sydney to make the “Perfect Irish Coffee”, ordering food completely off the menu in Killaloe or teaching a new English Son-in-Law the correct way to pour and drink Guiness.

Even in the face of grief, I think he would want us to find joy in remembering the good times. Your dad had a gift for turning life's little mishaps into unforgettable stories such as watching a baby Cian being sick over the dinner cloth at a very posh three starred Michelin restaurant after eating far too many rich chocolates his 60th birthday.

Let's honor him by sharing those stories and laughing as he would want us to.

It is with much sadness that we cant be there but we all send hugs and kisses from Downunder.

It will be my honour to lead Kevin's Committal Service in Mount Jerome on Friday. After a life he can be very proud of, we pray that he may rest in peace and rise in glory.
