Heartfelt condolences to all of you on Kevin's passing.
I got to know Kevin many years ago as part of the St. Gabriel's Community Festival in the early 1980s.
Kevin then made the introductions for me that led to me doing voluntary work for almost a year in Calcutta/Kolkata.
I will be forever grateful for all of the help and support Kevin offered me at that time.
Thank you for everything you did for me and rest in peace my friend.

Catherine and I send our deepest and most sincere condolences.

Kevin was an amazing man, a mentor, a support, a diplomat, a professional, who’s whole work in Life was for the betterment of others!

He was good friend and we worked closely together over the years, on governance and human rights, with Brendan and others on the union side, but I will always remember for his ability to tell a story to make you laugh and there were many a morning coffee break in Irish Aid that was longer than it should because we were all enthralled by Kevin’s tale of some adventure. Rest Easy Kevin.

My dearest Maggie, Caoimhe, Cillian and Niall, I am so sad to hear of Kevin's passing. I'm here in India and have spent the day remembering. So many great memories of our times together - in Zambia, in Uganda and in Dublin. He was one of the most honorable gentle people I have ever worked with. We had wicked fun together at times but also shared so much serious discussions about issues and work challenges we both felt passionate about. I know that all of the Uwakwe-Kellys regret his passing but we were all enriched by his life in so many ways.
I will light a candle here in New Delhi India (a country I know Kevin loved) on the day of his funeral.

Sad news indeed. Such a decent man, it was a privilege to have known Kevin from my time at Irish Aid and afterwards.

Memories may fade as time passes, but his humorous storytelling that livened many an occasion remains as fresh in the memory as ever.

I am so sorry to hear that Kevin has left this world and gone to God. What a lovely man, kind, compassionate, and great craic too. A rare enough combination! He was a wonderful colleague, but also a huge support to many who sought his wisdom over the years. He was generous with his time and his many skills. Dear Maggie, Caoimhe, Cillian, Niall and Extended Family. Our deepest and heartfelt condolences on the very sad passing of Kevin, my dear friend and colleague for more than 27 years.

It's hard to put into words what I feel on his passing. A beautiful spiritual soul who touched everyone who knew him. Such great memories of working with him at Embassies Lusaka, Dar es Salaam and Maseru. Always in your corner and yet with integrity and honesty. Plus humour.

Kevin, Kevin C & I worked so closely on Industrial Relationships together. He had such a wonderful diplomatic persuasive way of getting his points across and winning through consensus.

I can never forget his love and compassion after the death of my daughter in tragic circumstances. I remember calling him with the news and he was ready to fly to Africa to be there with and for me. Thereafter it was constant support and hospitality.

His presence mirrored his spirituality, love and compassion. He will be more than missed and remembered in perpetuity.

Very sad to hear of the passing of the great Kevin Carroll. I remember the countless Sundays I’d be welcomed with open arms for family dinner.
