I have only just heard today the 10th of July that Kevin has died . I went into his shop for some medication and was admiring one of the lovely pieces of art that Joan displays in the window which was in a different place this time so I was able to look at it more closely. I remarked on this to the assistant who then gave me the news. It was a great shock as
although I was aware that he was ill I thought he was responding well to the treatment. I will miss him greatly. He was such a good caring friendly man. I am only a recent arrival in Baltinglass but each time I went in for my monthly prescription he would notice and come out to say hello even though the assistant was serving me, as he always had it ready. It was a special moment for me each time just to see his lovely smile.
