Kevin (Colm) Ward

My sincere condolences to Kath, Catrina, Sarah, Angela.
Sorry for the notice as I just found out from my son Curtis.
For the short period I spent with Kevin, I found him to be a fantastic family man. Very smart, talented and a cheeky sense of humour.
He is missed but NEVER forgotten.
God bless Kevin and the Ward family.

Kevin was a unique Gentleman, innovative Teacher, passionate Gaeilgeoir, musician, Historian, Author, raconteur with a wicked sense of humour, my ex-colleague and great friend for many years.
Kath, Catrina Sarah, Angela and Grandkids, you will miss Kevin hugely, but may you find comfort in the cherished memories you share and strength in each others love. You are all in my thoughts and prayers .

I have only just learned of the death of my dear friend Kevin....I met Kevin as a student teacher in Birmingham 1966/67 and at De La Salle teacher training college in Manchester...Kevin introduced me to the guitar at that time and I've been trying to play it ever since ....he was a good singer and we enjoyed a few parties at that time ....I last had a sing song with Kevin at another dear friend's house in Donegal 10 years ago, just a year after I had lost my dear wife who was also a beautiful singer.......my sincere condolences to Kath and family at this sad time, I will always hold my friendship with Kevin close to my heart ...RIP dear friend.....

Condolences to the Ward family on Kevins passing, he taught me for few years, more years ago than I care to remember.
I had the pleasure of
meeting him again in more recent years while learning Irish. A gentleman by all accounts.

A man for all seasons with many keen interests. A polymath. A wonderful teacher. What I remember was his good nature and great sense of humour. Rest in peace Master Ward.
