I met Kevin almost two years ago through the social networks, both music lovers, he always told me to listen to new bands.
We have built an excellent relationship that has evolved into friendship especially when we met in person in Dublin last June. We spent a wonderful evening at home with John and some friends and relatives.
Unfortunately this is the only way to let his family know that I am deeply saddened for what has happened. The absurd thing is that we got in touch the day before the accident and he told me that he was really enjoying his holiday.
I will miss him a lot. I will miss his charm, his kindness and his enthusiasm in many things. I will miss our chats about music and his greetings in Italian.
Although we have not had the opportunity to better cultivate our friendship, I want you to know I will not forget you my friend. You gave me so much in so little time.
I will always save a prayer for you.
R.I.P. my friend.

My most sincere thoughts and condolences to Kevin and John's families.
Kevin was the most kind and gentle of souls, always with a smile and a cheerful demeanour. Interesting, engaging and great company. Sincere sympathies to Kevin's parents, siblings and family.
Although we did not get to know you both we just want to let you know we are all thinking of you both and your families
May you now both enjoy Heavens choir of Angels whom John can play.
We are so sad for the Devine family and the tragic loss of Kevin.
It is an unbelievable tragedy and our heartfelt sympathy goes to the Devine and Lynch family.
Rest well together forever.
