I was very sad to hear of Kev’s passing. We were in the same class in DLSC. He had a great sense of humour and was always quick to laugh. In transition year he gave me guitar lessons and was incredibly patient! I have really nice memories with him.

I am so incredibly sorry for your loss.

Kevin and I were not in touch for the last while, but for a good part of my twenties he was one of the most important people in my life. He had the kindest heart, an incredibly bright, curious, and unique mind, and we could make each other laugh until we absolutely lost the run of ourselves.

Although we were no longer in each others lives the same way these past years, I thought of Kevin often, and with love. He changed how I see the world, he changed how I listen to music, he changed how I play music, he changed me, intrinsically, for the better. The last time we spoke he sent me some personal essays he had written since moving away from music and I was once again blown away by his creativity, and the sensitive brilliance of his intellect.

I can not express how profoundly sad I am that he is no longer with you all, and please know I am thinking of you, and him, and will continue to carry him in my heart. May he rest in peace.

I would hear of Kevin's tremendous gift from my parents. After hearing his piece in the NCH, behind it, there was love, instilled by family, those who loved him and those he loved in return. Thinking of you all.

I will never forget the good times of sitting together in leaving cert biology and getting in trouble for being the most immature people in the room. And how you could criticise my form in the gym no matter what i waa doing but always with a laugh. RIP buddy x
