So sad to learn of Lofty's passing. Remembering all the great times in Ballisodare and Strandhill. He will live on in our memories and stories.

Saddened to hear that the legend that was Kevin Lofty Flynn has left us. Sincere sympathies to his wife Mary, his brothers Philip and Gregory and the extended Flynn and Flaherty families.

Kevin enjoyed an extraordinary life achieving great things in many different business areas and locations but he never lost the common touch and his love for Sligo. He had huge presence in any company and such a big brain. He loved the craic and for him life was for living. I worked for him for years and have great memories of the time. Rest easy Lofty RIP

Kevin .lofty 😊gave me a different outlook on life when I started working for him in the 80s i was around 17\18 years old he definitely thought me what kinda music to listen to ,how to have de craic without offending anyone. Myself and Maurice OGrady more or less ran the pub while loftey organised bands ,music ,BALLISODARE FESTIVAL.but did all in his stride he never seemed under pressure .AND MARY ….SUCH A lovely gentle woman .
Mary I am soo sorry to hear of Kevin’s passing .truly he made a difference in my outlook at life .
A legend lost.
I’m sure he’s havin the craic wherever he is .KHL ,U LEFT A VACUME .

I will always remember the first time I met Kevin Flynn, open neck shirt, gold medallion, he wouldn’t look out of place in Hollywood. I got to know Kevin and Mary well and what a great fellow, always in great form, full of fun. He had a great outlook on life and certainly was a man way ahead of his time.
He will be greatly missed.
He may have gone to meet his maker, but Kevin Flynn will never be forgotten.
To his wife Mary, brothers Philip and Gregory, and to his wide circle of friends I offer you all my deepest and heartfelt sympathies.
I wish Kevin good luck on his final journey.
