Mr. Forde (as I knew him) was my mathematics teacher throughout secondary school, a fact for which I was truly blessed. He laid the foundations on which my successful career as an engineer has been built, and I will be eternally grateful to him for the effort and care he put into his teachings. I will always remember the analogies he used when explaining complex topics, such as comparing algebraic variables to fruits, and indices to organic varieties of those same fruits to help us to avoid mixing them in our equations. I am deeply sorry to hear of his passing; please know he had a great impact on my life, and the lives of so many other students. Thank you, Mr. Forde.

Our hearts go out to you Monica on the passing onto the next life of your beloved Kevin. He was a humble, gentle, kind and caring man who cared deeply about his students at St Colmans C.C. He was a friend to us all and never had a bad word to say about anyone. He loved old pictures and videos of Cork and was a devoted Cork City fan. Arsenal were his love in the Premier League. As a musician he was a natural and made it look easy. A lover of all music and could play all musical instruments. A man who led a simple caring life and is so sorely missed by everyone who knew him.

My deepest condolences to all of Mr.Fordes family. He was my maths teacher in St. Colmans and was an amzing teacher. Such a kind and patient man, that always helped explain things in ways student understood. He cared deeply about his students and thrieved to help us all succeed.
May he rest in peace.
