Dear Ross, Vicky, Eric and Ryan and all the family.
Im so sorry to hear my uncle, your dad, has passed. Kevin was always a kind gentle soul. He had many good qualities and a quick wit. Life dealt him some challenging times especially with his health but he kept going. I remember fun times as kids visiting you all in Corrandulla and 'helping' with the farming. Kevin loved to play tricks and himself and Gerry Silke had us kids running around in circles with funny chores for a laugh. When I was very young and didnt know much about farming, we came across a sick lamb. I was determined to bring him to the vet. Kevin knew this little lamb had no hope but he humoured me and into Galway we went. He sat with me and baby lambie and he played along into the vet. He drove me home and assured me I did all I could and we can see how the lamb was the next day. Of course, it was not a great result as the little lamb didnt survive the night but I always remember that day and the kindness and compassion Kevin had for little animals and his family. Love you Kevin x rest in peace.

So sad to hear that Kevin has passed away. I hadn't spoken to Kevin for some years but I will always remember him as a gentleman and a good friend who always greeted you with a smile.
