I was so shocked and saddened on hearing of Kevin’s passing.

I came to EG&G Sealol Ireland in 1988 to do temping work for 3 weeks. I ended up staying for 9 years.

It was a great company to be part of. Kevin was very innovative for his time. Constantly thinking of the next improvement or a more seamless process. He was very kind to me personally for which I will never forget.

Sincere condolences to his family and friends. He will be sorely missed by all.

Great memories of a real gentleman, many years of great conversation and lots of banter as he passed the road, and a mention to his cherished dog Bailey he had for many years, a gift from his work mates on his retirement. RiP Kevin.

Kevin came to Shannon in 1974 with a vision to create employment and he did that for so many employees over the years. He set up the company which was named at the time Sealol Ireland LTD which was renamed EG&G Sealol under his management and is now named John Crane (Ireland) in Shannon free Zone. I am proud to be employed with this company for almost 43years and counting thanks to him. May his soul rest in peace.

Kevin, my boss for 18 years in SEALOL was a pure gentleman. He set up a state of the art company in Shannon and excellent conditions for us, the people who worked with him.

From Tom and Rita Meaney and family.
I was deeply shocked and saddened on hearing the news of Kevin’s untimely death last week.

Like so many who found employment at EG&G Sealol Ireland and worked for Kevin (in the good old days), we knew we had in him a man who worked tirelessly for both the employees and the continuing success of the Irish operation he founded.

As already mentioned by others, Kevin was a gentleman to work for and a mentor to many.
Sincere condolences to his family and friends who will miss him greatly. May he Rest In Peace.

Liam & Peggy Moloney. Limerick.
Rest In Peace, Kevin
Deepest sympathies to Kevin's family, he was a gentleman in every way. We will miss our conversations with Kevin on the road. A true Friend.
Too hard to believe you are gone when I always expected when I returned to Shannon that you would be there. Your imagination and drive made the difference in building the premier operation within EG&G Sealol as you always surrounded yourself with the best people. People talk about continuous improvement like it is something new but you were fostering that ideal in the 70's. Working together was a great experience but my warmest memories are for being brought in and being a part of the Shannon family. Where else would I go out for lunch and we would park at the end of the runway and stand under the Concode while it practised landing or before dinner stop for a pint and watch Coronation Street. You were a most interesting man who made his mark and will be missed. Rest peacefully Kevin
