Very sorry to hear of Kevin's death. He was a great man in many senses who made a huge contribution to his community, both as a teacher and as a local historian. He was a role model for so many people and his legacy will live long in the memory.

We met again at your home in Carnew last august when Anita spent a few days with you.
May Kevin rest in peace now and im sure some of the Colattin emigrants gone before him will be there to greet him and thank him for keeping the memories of them alive.

Kevin was a great club captain and friend.
He used to run the captain's prize competition every year with the help of Eleanor for many a year.

We were sad to hear of Kevin’s passing. Truly very sad. Kevin & Eleanor were both instrumental in locating our ancestral home in 2016 as we participated in the first beautiful Homeward Trek. Kevin, a man of connections, called to help people bridge the past to the present, helped us to understand and have deep respect for our hearty Irish ancestors. A most marvellous person. He was a level headed man with a profound committment to learning. I never spent an unpleasant moment in his company. His erudition and knowledge of Wicklow history was fascinating. It was a privilege to know him. Condolences to all, especially Eleanor, who are bereft at his passing.
