Kevin will be sadly missed with his constant smile and friendly wave! He was such a loving Father, driving Anna to work every day and sadly having to care for Susan during her illness over the Covid period. He was alway willing to help even collecting peoples online shopping. I do hope you have some peace now Kevin- you will be missed not just by me but by the many people I see passing your house, looking in & taking a moment!

Kevin is at peace now with his wife Olive and daughters Susan and Anna . Kevin was a good friend to my mum Agnes Malone. He was also a carpenter by trade . He did a lot of work for my late mum on her house and for me on mine. Kevin was my neighbour at Sandy Grove Blackrock and also when I was a child growing up when he lived on the Rock Road Blackrock. Kevin was hit with a terrible blow when his wife Olive passed away. But to loose his daughter Anna who passed away so suddenly was another steep blow. Anna lived with her Dad all her life. When his daughter Susan moved home to look after him her presence must have been a huge source of comfort. But Kevin faced tragedy when he lost his second daughter not long after Anna’s passing . Kevin kept himself fit using Felda’s swimming pool on it’s opening.He swam there most days. He was a very fit man.I met him in a local shop fairly regularly after Anna and Susan passed on.He always had a smile. But it was clear he was heartbroken at loosing his entire family over such a short period of time.Kevin was one of the original generation of Blackrock as my mum and dad were. Another precious light has gone out in the community. To Kevin’s family and friends deepest sympathies

Was unaware until today of Kevin's passing . He was my neighbour when I first came to live again in Blackrock. He and all his family were the best people you could live near . So sorry to hear of his passing , a lovely man. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
