He was a great man to talk to and to go for for advice and guidance, and if it wasn’t for this man, I wouldn’t be pursuing the career I am today. A gentleman of the highest order. RIP Kevin.

I wish to express my sincere condolences to Kevin's family. I had the pleasure of being taught English by Kevin for 5 years at St Pat's and have very fond memories of Kevin. He was a true gentleman and possessed a certain humour and wit. I do not recall Kevin ever losing his temper or raising his voice in class. He instilled in us not to take anything at face value and to think critically. His influence remains in many of us to this day. May Kevin rest in peace.

Was saddened to hear the news of Kevins passing this week. Condolences to his family , I hope they draw some comfort from the great impact he had on so many of us who had the good fortune to have him as our English teacher in St Pats .He had a great way in the classroom and treated us all as equals . While we always tried to turn the talk to football there was plenty of time for poetry and prose too.

During my time on the Committee of Castleknock GAA we were honored to have Kevin host many of our fundraising events, family fun days and celebration awards nights. Kevin did this each time without question, prepared thoroughly and delivered with eloquence, a joy to work alongside. The club and community are also extremely grateful for the Castleknock GAA 20 year history from 1998 to 2008, a project Kevin led and delivered on, and is now sitting in the homes of many in the parish.
