Very shocked and saddened to hear of Kevin's passing, gone far too young. We have so many great memories of the music scene in Kilkenny in the 80's and 90's, Kevin and Willie at the heart of them, both legends of the music scene at that time. I worked with Kevin when he was in BT.

To say that Kevin was genuine and sincere is an understatement, you couldn't have meet a kinder and more sincere person.

It was always a pleasure coming into work, as we knew Kevin would have a funny story from the weekend or something would happen during the day, and we'll have a good laugh about it.

Kevin always spoke of his children, and when he did, it was very obvious to everyone how much he loved and admired each of his children, Geoffrey, Tadhg and Rachel.

Kevin would always give great advise, whether that be within a business environment, or on a personal level, and for this, I'll always be grateful.

To his immediate family and extended family, I offer my sincere condolences.

Kevin and I would have great conversations, and I learned a lot from him. Only a couple of days ago (out of the blue) I was thinking about how he said, "You can't teach experience." In all my years I had never heard something so matter of fact and true, that it struck me and stayed with me. He said a lot of things like that. He had great insight and a very grounded way of looking at things. He definitely had a positive impact on me. I am very sorry for the loss experienced by his family.

I’ve known Kevin for about 14 years from BT through to Primark days. Kevin had a wicked sense of humour and was often the centre of the fun in the office. Kevin was kind and thoughtful, a great confidant and he always spoke of Geoff, Tadhg and Rachel with so much love; you are no doubt his proudest achievement.
