My heart goes out to Mike and all the family. Kevin is truly irreplaceable as in life he was always a pure gentleman with a smile and a kind word every time you’d ever see him. May God have mercy on his gentle soul.

So very sorry about the loss of your dear Kevin. I did not know Kevin personally but have heard that he was a good man, genuine and bubbly.

I hope it's some comfort to know that he is in a place above with God in Heaven, watching down on you all. No suffering exists here and he is at total peace.
I pray that this will give you the strenght you will need, Kevin would want you guys to live happy lives.

Sincerest sympathy to the O Brien family, all his many friends and the wider Claremorris community on the tragic loss of Kevin RIP.
I knew Kevin from doing business with him in the Trophy Centre attached to the pub. Visited many trophy centres in the west of ireland roughly 25 years ago as I needed medals and trophies in my line of work twice annually. Suffice it to say that once I visited Kevin in Claremorris I never looked elsewhere in the subsequent 15 years of medal hunting till my retirement 10 years ago.
Though I haven't met Kevin in the past 10 years I haven't forgotten him and never will. Rarely in life does one have the priveledge of meeting such a friendly, honest, helpful gentleman that Kevin was. Though you would be a stranger in pure geographical terms you felt he knew you for a lifetme. He had a unique way about him which was so endearing.You always left his shop knowing and feeling you were a valued and respected customer having gotten exactly what you came for. His attention to his work was second to none.
So so sad to hear of his passing. I can only imagine what you his close family are going through at this time. My only hope is that you find solace in having known and loved such a kind man as Kevin and that in someway he can comfort you from heaven, where he certainly is now.
May Kevin rest in peace.

We were so sad to hear of Kevin’s sudden passing. I have many fond memories from the pub since my childhood after we’d done the shopping next door & many memories since. I have lived away for years but Kevin always welcomed me home with a smile.
