I was deeply shocked and saddened to hear of the loss of Kev. He will always hold a special place in my heart and I cherish all the happy memories we shared. My love and thoughts are with his family and friends, I am so sorry. Rest easy, Kevin x
Dear Mr and Mrs O’Leary,
I didn’t know Kevin well but we met from time to time socially through Eithne and I have only happy memories of a lovely man who was great and kind company. For a while he lived near me in London and we shared a few late night taxis after well spent evenings.
I am so terribly sorry for your loss and for Eithne and Barry’s and the rest of his family’s. At the service in Cornwall it was lovely to see that he was remembered with such great affection by his further colleagues as well as friends, neighbours and family.
I hope that that affection and those memories are a comfort to you all.
May he rest in peace.
Best wishes
Lesley.
Such sad news. Condolences to Breda, John, Barry, Eithne, family and friends. Rest in peace Kevin.
Kev had an incredible aura and I loved sharing conversations with him. His company was a relaxing place for me. He had a great capacity to make you feel special, he listened well and in every conversation it felt like I was leaning something new, breaking some ground and we were inches away from greatness. As a man he was generous and kind to everyone. He had an undeniable intelligence and gravitas but was a true man of the people and without a doubt one of the funniest conversationalists you could have the pleasure to banter with. His articulations and expressions were unique and beautifully apt. It’s so sad to learn of his passing. Kev, respect my friend.
