I will always hold treasured childhood memories of growing up in Bettystown. Reclaiming the square as a playground when the summer residents had left with Kevin Mariam and the gang.Somers blue painted shop at its centre .
I will miss the recent chance meetings with Kevin walking the beach with his grandchildren, chatting and reminiscing of times past .
