With Kieran‘s passing the Community of Castlecoote has lost a cornerstone.
A gentleman, Kieran lived a life of service; through his work, and through volunteerism and commitment to community, and above all in his love for family. And throughout all with Ann, his rock, by his side.

Special condolences to Ann, to Fiona, David, Basil and Veronica, to his grandchildren and extended family.

Kieran was a good man.

Sincere sympathy to Ann, David and Fiona on the sad passing of Kieran. I have known Kieran for so many years from years ago when Kieran attended the Offaly Co.Hurling Finals in Birr. Then as the years moved on Kieran became a colleague of Garda Siochana and we became friends for years. Indeed I have a fond memory of Kieran actually hurling corner back for Athleague when I had moved on from Offaly and wound up hurling with Tremane and Kieran marked me in some of the games !!! For many years I used to call over the years to see Kieran and Ann and many the chats about the Offaly hurling in the early years, including also Ann`s memories of her family the Dooleys from Drumcullen !!
