He led a consultancy project for the Euro Changeover Board of Ireland more than twenty years ago and we knew him as a true professional, a true gentleman and a truly lovely man. And he was very good company over a few pints then and since, including in recent years when we learnt to add courage to the long list of his qualities. May he rest in peace.

I worked with Kieran for many years in Deloitte as well as enjoying his company on trips to play 5-a-side football (some years back) and connecting again during alumni nights for which I remember fondly. A gentleman doesn't describe his nature in its truest. Kieran spanned many generations of colleagues that passed through Deloitte with his friendship, generosity of time and gentle wisdom. Always wearing a smile, we were gifted with a great colleague and friend. May he rest in peace and we will miss him greatly as the various groups reconnect in years to come.

I worked with Kieran throughout my long time in Deloitte and we spent many years sitting beside each other putting the world to rights. He spoke often of his mum and family and was obviously close to you all. Kieran was always a calm voice with wise counsel and a true professional. I will remember him fondly and miss him.

To the Devery Family,
I was so sorry to hear of Kieran's passing earlier this week especially after his long battle with illness which he fought so bravely. Kieran managed some of the projects I worked on as a consultant in Deloitte. I remember his encouragement to get the right answer for the client, but always with a kind and gentle approach. Like teachers, I think we always remember the 'good managers' that we have in life and Kieran was one of those! He had that extra personal touch and interest in people.
I know he will be greatly missed by everyone - his family, colleagues and friends.
