KIERAN DUNLEA

Deepest sympathy to the Dunlea family of Kieran, RIP. I only heard of his sad passing today. I met Kieran this June when we were in twice weekly 'rehab' in St Finbarrs hospital. We were always in competition with one another & had great ' chats with the 2 ladies on the course, physio & nurse. Kieran was a very pleasant, interesting & enjoyable person. Rest in peace Kieran.

It's many years ago since I knew Kieran....A genuine lovely guy

So sad to hear of Kieran’s passing. First met Kieran in Carrignavar, he was some man. Always good to meet him in town. It was all about football and family. Thoughts with Mags, Mick, Colm, family and friends.

No words can express the heartache I feel in loosing our 'soul-friend', a family member and one of gods angels on earth. Like a tornado, he blasted into our lives, inviting himself to our wedding, and then becoming a permanent fixture in our family. 36 years was not enough - we were short changed. Rest in paradise Kier,  until we meet again in the next life.

"Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories".

There’s not enough words to describe what Kieran meant to me. He was my unofficial godfather, my fun uncle, my mums crazy Irish best friend and so much more. I’m so very sorry for your loss. I first met Kieran while we were bartending in a pub in cork back in the late 70’s. He was a gentle soul.

We first met Kieran when we gave him a lift back to Cork from Marble Hill Beach in Donegal, next time at Ger Falvey’s wedding and the final time at Ger’s funeral 2 years ago. In all that time he was still the smiling friendly person he was such a pleasure to meet. To his family and friends my sincerest sympathy, he is a great loss. RIP.

We are shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden and untimely passing of Kieran. I have known Kieran all my life and have many childhood memories of us (his brothers) all playing football in our Wembley (Barrett’s )behind 13 Belvedere Lawn.
