I listened to the Mass and was struck by the preparation that was done for it and Mairead's eulogy gave us all an insight into the family many years ago and today.

the sister Mairead a sister we would all love red hair green suit spoke eloquently and dignified a nurse but a person of caliber who clearly put everyone before herself
a newphew that looked and sang like Ed sheeran
a brother who sang from the heart you are always close to me
the limerick flag

the priest who thought he was from cappaquinn instead of cappmaore
the guard of honour the crossmaglen team
the graveyard the brother who stood up like a peacock shoved out his chest (exactly like Kieran )and sang the parting glass
the last and final words as the coffin had been lowered by his wife Maria in her beautiful voice

I couldn't bring myself to put up a condolence as I wasn't able to accept that Kieran had left us. What a lovely send off for Kieran yesterday it was a prilivage to meet his family his mother Mary , Sister Mairead, Brothers Shane, Noel, Michael and be together with the GAA family after the burial.
The spirit of Kieran will live on and thanks for everything was a real Irish funeral . Rest in peace Kieran.

Our deepest condolences to Kieran’s wife and young children, Kieran was there for us when my daughter was born prematurely, it was a testing time however I remember Kieran often popping over to see how we were.
