Kieran J. Flynn

I send my deepest sympathy from the USA to Kieran’s family. My mother, Barbara McCann Thias (cousin to Margaret Flynn), always spoke so highly of Kieran; I wish I would have had the opportunity to meet him. May you find comfort and love always in your wonderful memories of Kieran, who will forever be in God’s care.

My condolances to the Flynn family and all who knew Mr Flynn. He was a fantastic teacher and mentor. Fond memories of attending his tech graphics class for the junior cert and later in wood work. Kieran tought me mechanical drawing and was Transition Year co-ordinator for my year in ’97. I remember well he had the patience of a saint teaching us work working!
He was a role model in the school, exemplifying what it was to be a supportive teacher in the classroom and at all times a true gent.

Kieran was a kind, decent and caring man. His love for his family and his professional attitude to all that he undertook was and is an inspiration to his friends, teaching colleagues and students.

Mr Flynn was our teacher and rugby coach in the late nineties in St Benildus College. He was a great teacher and coach. Deepest condolences on the loss of Kieran. The warm energy that Kieran brought to the corner at #51 will be missed. His willingness to lend a hand has been a constant for me and my family, from my earliest memories until today. He was an incredibly capable and inspiring guy, between helping me with junior cert wood work projects up to the impressive home improvement projects he undertook, he was a role model.
