My sincere condolences to Kierans family. I am so saddened to be only reading this tonight. I first met Kieran when we were small boys in killeens Place before the Punch family moved down the hill. We met each other on and off after that and after Kieran spent time in the 4th Bn we only met once or twice, last time I met him was in youghal years ago but it only feels like yesterday he had me in stitches that day with a story about his daughter and Santa. Kieran rest in peace. To his family I really hope you find peace in the memories you shared. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

It was with great sadness to hear that we lost our dear cousin Kieran. Our cousins have lost their Brother, deepest condolences to Frank, Myra, Pa, Michael, William, Noel, Leonard and Eamonn. Kieran was a big part of our growing up in Farranree/ Spangle Hill, he helped make the good memories from that time. Reading all the condolences from his friends and work colleagues sums him up perfectly as he was good humoured, a great story teller with the gift of making you laugh which he got from his Mother Shelia and her Brothers.
A very sad time for his wife Jacenta, his children Alisha and Emmet and his granddaughter Lillie.
My deepest sympathies to you all.

Many a day inside in SRT went a lot quicker when the door would barge open and in would walk Chopper with one of his many stories that would take him hours to tell. He was such a character and will be sadly missed by all. May he rest in peace.
