Eva, I enjoyed many nice chats with Kieran in The Salt Cellar over the years and I am very sad to hear of his passing. May he rest in peace.

I am very sorry to hear of Kieran's passing. For a number of years we had offices overhead in number 29 Upper Mount St before moving to the Crescent. I was a daily customer in the Salt Cellar during that time and like all customers had a great connection with Kieran. He was a really lovey man and we had many great chats over the years. My sincere condolences to Eva and all of Kieran's immediate family and may he Rest in Peace.

It is with great sadness we mourn the death of Kieran and extend our heartfelt commiserations to his wife Eileen,son Colm and daughter Eva, brother Thomas and sister Coleen and extended family.

Mary, Catherine,Anne( deceased), Brid and Antoinette recall fond memories of spending holidays with our cousins Kieran, Thomas and Colleen in Binion and Ballymote. In later years we were delighted that Kieran, Colleen, Eva and Paul rekindled the connection during the "family gathering", celebrating our family connection and heritage.Recalling an enjoyable time as we have lost two wonderful members, our sister Anne and our cousin Kieran.

Ah my dear wee friend Kieran. I will miss our hugs and chats and your famous chicken noodle soup. We had such a special bond and you always called me your girlfriend. Your gentle kind soul will be very much missed. Rest in peace always xx Cat

Very sorry to hear of Ciaran’s passing, may he be at peace now. Condolences to his family and friends. He was always a great man for the chats in the salt cellar and provided a homely meal and welcome. He will be sorely missed on mount street.
