I knew Killian from school and he was always a very friendly, kind and thoughtful fella, BCS was always much more fun when he was in the class. We were also very grateful to have Killian on our hurling and football teams as you were almost guaranteed a win with our star player on the pitch. Rest in peace Killian

My sympathies to Killian’s Mam and Dad, his brothers Darragh and Conor and his girlfriend Ciara. I met Killian in Blarney and he was a great friend, always smiling and kind. He loved the nuns, was always very respectful and they loved him. I think he was there favourite. His favourite part of the week was when Ciara or his Mam picked him up. He was also very proud of his brothers and told us all about their sporting achievements. Rest easy Bro and look out for us all.

I am so sorry to hear of Killian’s passing, I am living abroad and only heard this very sad news. I was in BCS with Killian and while we weren’t close friends I will always remember how he always spoke out against any unfairness or injustice and always stood up for the underdog and minorities. As a 14 year old boy who was struggling with his sexuality I cannot tell you how much it meant to have somebody like Killian as an ally. He had nothing to gain from this, he was already a sports superstar, was very handsome and one of the most popular guys in school but he still did it. I’ll always be grateful to him for it and wish I had told him how much it meant to me. RIP Killian

I didn’t know Killian personally but my nephew was in St Helen’s with him and Killian’s name was often mentioned as a lad who constantly helped and encouraged him through his difficulties and was always available for a puc around to take his mind off things. You should be so proud that despite his own struggles he was always looking out for others. May his kind and gentle soul rest in peace. 🕊️

He was an amazing kid and ye were the best parents any boy could have wished for.
