Kitsy Scanlon

Kitsy was a great friend of my mother's, Angela Gilligan. They met when they were just 4 or 5 year old little girls in primary school in Sligo and that began a true lifelong friendship. I remember well Kitsy's visits to our home when I was young. Kitsy and mother maintained the friendship even after Kitsy's move to Dublin. The last time I met Kitsy was when she came to my mother's funeral in 2014. Kitsy was a beautiful person with incredible grace and a most loyal friend. She was a role model for us all. My sincere sympathies to all of the family.

Very sincere sympathy to Kitsy's family on her death. May she rest in peace. I have memories of her at Mass in Booterstown, several years back at 7 30 am. We always had a little chat.
